Palaiopoli (Greek: η Παλαιόπολη) (Palaiopoleos Local Community - YDROUSAS Municipal Section), belongs to ANDROU Municipality, ANDROU Regional Unity located in South Aegean region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Palaiopoli”. The seat of the municipality is Andros and belongs to the geographical region of Aegean Islands.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Palaiopoli belonged to Palaiopoleos Local District, the former municipality of YDROUSAS the prefecture of KYKLADON.
