Panagitsa (Greek: η Παναγίτσα) (Panagitsas Local Community - VEGORITIDAS Municipal Section), belongs to EDESSAS Municipality, PELLAS Regional Unity located in Central Macedonia region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Panagitsa”. The seat of the municipality is Edessa and belongs to the geographical region of Macedonia.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Panagitsa belonged to Panagitsas Local District, the former municipality of VEGORITIDAS the prefecture of PELLIS.
