Petralona (Greek: τα Πετράλωνα) (Petralonon Local Community - TRIGLIAS Municipal Section), belongs to NEAS PROPONTIDAS Municipality, CHALKIDIKIS Regional Unity located in Central Macedonia region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “ta Petralona”. The seat of the municipality is Nea Moudania and belongs to the geographical region of Macedonia.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Petralona belonged to Petralonon Local District, the former municipality of TRIGLIAS the prefecture of CHALKIDIKIS.
