Petrona (Greek: η Πετρώνα) (Petronas Local Community - INACHOU Municipal Section), belongs to AMFILOCHIAS Municipality, AITOLOAKARNANIAS Regional Unity located in Western Greece region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Petrona”. The seat of the municipality is Amfilochia and belongs to the geographical region of Central Greece.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Petrona belonged to Petronas Local District, the former municipality of INACHOU the prefecture of AITOLIAS KAI AKARNANIAS.
