Petrothalassa (Greek: η Πετροθάλασσα) (Kranidiou Municipal Community - KRANIDIOU Municipal Section), belongs to ERMIONIDAS Municipality, ARGOLIDAS Regional Unity located in Peloponnisos region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Petrothalassa”. The seat of the municipality is Kranidi and belongs to the geographical region of Peloponnesus.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Petrothalassa belonged to Kranidiou Local District, the former municipality of KRANIDIOU the prefecture of ARGOLIDOS.
