Petroto (Greek: το Πετρωτό) (Mesaiou Local Community - KALLITHEAS Municipal Section), belongs to ORAIOKASTROU Municipality, THESSALONIKIS Regional Unity located in Central Macedonia region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “to Petroton”. The seat of the municipality is Oraiokastro and belongs to the geographical region of Macedonia.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Petroto belonged to Mesaiou Local District, the former municipality of KALLITHEAS the prefecture of THESSALONIKIS.
