Plagia (Greek: η Πλαγιά) (Plagias Local Community - ARRIANON Municipal Section), belongs to ARRIANON Municipality, RODOPIS Regional Unity located in Eastern Macedonia - Thrace region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Plagia”. The seat of the municipality is Filyra and belongs to the geographical region of Thrace.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Plagia belonged to Plagia (the former community of Arrianon) Local District, the former municipality of ARRIANON the prefecture of RODOPIS.
