Rizoma

Rizoma (Greek: το Ρίζωμα) (Rizomatos Local Community - PARALITHAION Municipal Section), belongs to TRIKKAION Municipality, TRIKALON Regional Unity located in Thessalia region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “to Rizoma”. The seat of the municipality is Trikala and belongs to the geographical region of Thessalia.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Rizoma belonged to Rizomatos Local District, the former municipality of PARALITHAION the prefecture of TRIKALON.
