Sindos (Greek: η Σίνδος) (Sindou Municipal Community - ECHEDOROU Municipal Section), belongs to DELTA Municipality, THESSALONIKIS Regional Unity located in Central Macedonia region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Sindos”. The seat of the municipality is Sindos and belongs to the geographical region of Macedonia.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Sindos belonged to Sindou Local District, the former municipality of ECHEDOROU the prefecture of THESSALONIKIS.
