Sotira (Greek: η Σωτήρα) (Agiou Georgiou Siteias Local Community - SITEIAS Municipal Section) belongs to SITEIAS Municipality, LASITHIOU Regional Unity located in Crete region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “i Sotira”. The seat of the municipality is Siteia and belongs to the geographical region of Crete.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Sotira belonged to Agiou Georgiou Siteias Local District, the former municipality of SITEIAS the prefecture of LASITHIOU.
