Strongyli (islet) (Greek: η Στρογγυλή) (Emporeiou Local Community), belongs to NISYROU Municipality, KO Regional Unity located in South Aegean region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.
Its official name is “i Strongyli”. The seat of the municipality is Nisyros and belongs to the geographical region of Aegean Islands.
During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Strongyli belonged to Emporeiou Local District, the former municipality of NISYROU the prefecture of DODEKANISOU.
