Variko (Greek: το Βαρικό) (Varikou Local Community - VARIKOU Municipal Section), belongs to AMYNTAIOU Municipality, FLORINAS Regional Unity located in Western Macedonia region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “to Varikon”. The seat of the municipality is Amyntaio and belongs to the geographical region of Macedonia.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Variko belonged to Varikou Local District, the former community of VARIKOU the prefecture of FLORINIS.
