Vertiskos (Greek: ο Βερτίσκος) (Vertiskou Local Community - VERTISKOU Municipal Section), belongs to LAGKADA Municipality, THESSALONIKIS Regional Unity located in Central Macedonia region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “o Vertiskos”. The seat of the municipality is Lagkadas and belongs to the geographical region of Macedonia.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Vertiskos belonged to Vertiskou Local District, the former municipality of VERTISKOU the prefecture of THESSALONIKIS.
