Alonia (Greek: τα Αλώνια) (Alonion Local Community - ARIOS Municipal Section), belongs to KALAMATAS Municipality, MESSINIAS Regional Unity located in Peloponnisos region, according to the administrative division of Greece as altered by “Kallikratis” project.

Its official name is “ta Alonia”. The seat of the municipality is Kalamata and belongs to the geographical region of Peloponnesus.

During the former administrative division of Greece (“Kapodistrias” project) and until 2010, Alonia belonged to Alonion Local District, the former municipality of ARIOS the prefecture of MESSINIAS.
